Updated weekly, this snapshot tracks the public health outlook on campus. One hundred percent of Miss Hall’s adults and students were tested prior to returning to campus and have signed our Common Good Guidelines as part of our effort to protect our community. The numbers below reflect tests administered and facilitated by Miss Hall’s.

We are carefully monitoring COVID-19 developments and the health, wellbeing, and travel plans of all MHS community members, following the recommendations of local, national, and world health authorities. The School’s Incident Response Team (IRT) is following this situation closely and meets regularly to share information and updates.

With an abundance of caution, we scaled back on- and off-campus activities in early March, canceled professional development travel for faculty and staff, started Spring Break early, and moved to distance learning on Monday, April 6, for the rest of the Second Semester.

On September 12, we announced that the School will reopen for boarding student arrivals on Saturday, September 26, and will resume on-campus instruction for all students, including day students, on Monday, October 19, for the start of Term 2.

We are excited and eager to have students back on campus, and, more importantly, we are ready to do so. The health and safety of students and adults drove our decision to close campus in the spring and have been at the forefront of our preparations and planning for reopening. We are 100 percent committed to taking the necessary steps to ensure campus wellness throughout this year.

Students leaving the United States due to COVID-19 and who are continuing their studies remotely outside the United States can remain in active status. Read the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) statement.
